It was then I realized that my first gay crush was in fact an onscreen one as well:  Devon Sawa as Casper the Friendly Ghost in the 1995 movie of the same name.  Who knows why I was attracted to him?  Doubtless there were other cute adolescent boys that I could have been crushing on in movies, but I chose him…
