She has been my crush for 7 years…the cute straight girl that might swing your way that “one” time. At parties I would try out my best material, she never bought it! Just last weekend at my current girlfriend’s birthday party (we’ve been together for four years) she told me that she was thinking back and thought that we would’ve worked out as a couple. Are you kidding me, the girl I pined over for 7 years thinks a relationship “would’ve” worked out! I started thinking about all these things, what did I do wrong? How did we miss each other? What would we have been like as a couple? It really mind screwed me. Now she’s getting married in 21 days and I could incorporate the new topic of regret into this one too.  I regret not pushing that extra mile because we could’ve been together but then I wouldn’t have met my current girlfriend. It’s all a mystery to me! The crazy thing is, my crush and my girlfriend went to high school together! Although, I would like to believe that fate happens and soul mates I think that we can make our lives be what they are and maybe if I would’ve tried harder with my Courtney we would be together. My only question is, now that she’s getting married do I have to stop my crush OR my regret?
